the bulb in my passenger door light, the red light that comes on when the door is open, has burned out.
Do I need to remove the whole panel or will the lens just pry off.
I tried prying a bit, but did not want to break anything so I figured I would as the experts (you).
Thanks.

Rear Heat control question
91 L300 Getting colder in the great Northwet so I started messing with the rear heater control. Here is what I found; If I have the "mixed" or "upper" vents selected I only get cold air. No matter what "temp" I have set. The only way I get any heat is if I select the &q...

Roger that.
I did adjust my belts today. On the tight side and the noise did go away.
When I had the belts and pulleys off I spun the alternator and power steering pump and they felt fine. I have removed the AC belt so that can't be the issue.

L300 E-Code Headlights
Set of E code headlights for a L300. I have gone through all of the adjusters, cleaned etc as necessary and they all work. That said, as normal, you will need to be gentle with them. $250.00 US for the set. Thats about the cost of one new one. I will be in Seattle tomorrow, Sunday 11/20, for the Sea...

I will check the belts, but pretty sure that is not the problem. They are in good shape and, having worked on cars for 30+ years, I am pretty certain on what a loose belt sounds like. Plus, the noise does not go up or down with increased/decreased rpms. That is usually a good belt indicator. The sou...

Headlight replacement
I just did my driver side. Was pretty straight forward. Match the colors and there is one extra wire.
Black to black. Red to red and blue to blue if if remember correctly. There is an extra ,green, that just gets cut and unused.
I am looking for a Depo passenger side. Where did you find one?

1991 Delica L300, 130,000 KM. Well maintained. I have a high pitched squeak coming from the engine bay on start up. This goes away at rpm's > 1,200 or so and goes away completely when the engine is warmed up. Goes away completely if the car is driven regularly. I am bike based and so only go out in ...

L300 Climate Control Knob
Looking for one of those squarish knobs that go on the end of the climate controls.
Or in non tech talk, the knob that goes onto the end of the sliders where you set temp, fan speed etc. Squarish with a white vertical line.
Thanks.

Cigarette Lighter Removal
1991 L300.
Looking to take out the cigarette lighter. Got the dash trim off fine, but can't figure out how to get the lighter out.
Does the inside screw out?
Thanks.

LED Headlight Bulbs
Yes, mine were some E-13 Taiwanese brand. Soueast Daioku or something like that. Went to adjust it an all the adjusters were wasted. Took them apart and got 3 or 4 working very well. Also tt a vendor in BC and am getting a set of used OE ones. Supposedly the quality is a lot better and they are adju...

LED Headlight Bulbs
I did replace both low beam lights. Used std bulbs and they suck. I will try the extreme. BTW, the low beam on my L300 (outside light) is an H3 style. Tried adjusting the lights last night. What a nightmare. Ended up with both lights on my work bench so I can take apart, fix (hopefully) and grease a...

LED Headlight Bulbs
Anyone ever tried replacing the stock bulbs with LED bulbs? Any success or failures? Just curious. I just got back from a 600 mile weekend trip and discovered the headlights of my new to me L300 are quite pathetic. I know I have an aiming issue to deal with, but they were still bad. Worst of any veh...
