Re: oxygen sensor
I have noticed the same, jwfchase, and it really spoils things for me on this forum... but on the brighter side it is certainly good practice in not taking anything personally! :-) All the hostility, scarcasms, and overall abrasive language is simply coming from someone whose buttons have been pushe...

Re: oxygen sensor
I'm lovin' this discussion more and more. Thanks for all the pointers guys. So, sounds to me that I can consider putting down the $1500 for a WVO conversion after all. That's really great news. Perhaps I'll phone someone who does the conversions and see what's up. I have done zero research on who do...

Re: oxygen sensor
It's too bad there seems to be so much hostility in this discussion. There really is no need for it. My "assumption" comment seems to have been shot right back at me, like a stab in return for a stab. I've spoken to many mechanics about the rubber part degradation that veggie oil and bio-d...

Re: oxygen sensor
Who said I was using "Hydrogen-boost's" system? They're right though, to get really amazing mileage you have to integrate other clever gizmos and tweaks and driving habits... I completely agree, and that's exactly what I'm doing. :-D As for WVO... I'm all for it, especially on Delica's!!.....

Re: oxygen sensor
Thanks for the info.! I love what I'm learning. The more efficient combustion that the hydroxy (HH0) gas adds is definitely overcoming the load of the alternator. My tank of diesel is most certainly lasting longer. I have most of the kinks worked out so I began testing on Wednesday. I'll be averagin...

Re: oxygen sensor
I love how passionate some of you get. This whole discussion is absolutely hilarious in it's drama, and ultimately great entertainment. I definitely have a few things to learn before I can call myself an expert at this, but I have a passion for alternative energy through which I am slowly boosting t...

Re: oxygen sensor
Thanks again Laura. I'll continue to consult with others, but you're helping me feel confident that there aren't too many more factory installed obstructions in way of my project. Curious to know what your project is....? And, I'd say there aren't a lot of people that truly know exactly what they're...

Re: oxygen sensor
Mararmeisto, Great info! Thank you. Here's what I'm doing. I've made a device called an electrolyzer. It's a separator of water essentially which uses electricity to separate the oxygen and hydrogen atoms that make up water, so that you can use these two very combustible elements as extra fuel for y...

Re: oxygen sensor
Laura, Thanks for staying on topic and for the great info! Not sure if I'll be able to tell what kind of alternator I have just by looking at it from below the vehicle (I'm no mechanic by any stretch), but I'll check it out. Do you know of any devices in our Delica's, such as the barometers you ment...

Re: How do I find out my alternator specs?
I will be happy to post my results once I get everything installed. Could be another month or two before testing resumes. I will definitely be spreading the word once I have substantial findings to report. These sites may prove interesting to some: http://www.hydrogengarage.com http://www.eagle-rese...

Re: How do I find out my alternator specs?
Actually, I've tested these devices myself and they do exactly what they're supposed to do. I'm not some schmo getting duped by a salesman. I appreciate your angle, but don't knock it 'til you try it. The theory, by the way, is not to separate hydrogen from oxygen. You need to educate yourself more ...
