Crazy Idle *Petrol Version
I have a 92 petrol L300 and for the past month the idle has been acting very strange. At start-up sometimes the idel is fine and will work fine the whole time. Other times at start-up the rpms will be very low (200 rpms) it will suddenly rev up to about 1500 rpms and drop back to 200 and stay that w...

Re: Beast from the East
jfarsang is on to something. I think it was Georgia that just recently banned RHD vehicles. this is from one of my posts back in Aug. 2009 You are correct that import laws are set up state by state. I can't speak for the entire United States but, for example, Florida allows cars that are 15 years a...

Rephrase to 'can be resold in Florida. post has been edited Nice ride. I'd like to see how you can squeeze the six in there. :) So do I. It should be a fun wrestling match. It is only about half a liter than the inline four, but it is a far bit wider. I am thinking about doing a side pipe exhaust l...

Re: Beast from the East
Congratulations! How'd you pull it off to be able to drive it down there? Florida has very relaxed laws when it comes to gray market cars. Once a car reaches 15 years old it can be registered in Florida. The easiest way to get the car into the States is actually to bring it in through Canada. Once ...

Beast from the East
I guess it is about time to introduce my L300 to the world. http://i599.photobucket.com/albums/tt76/rhdpanda/Delica/DSCF0067.jpg She is a 92 Petrol Manual Exceed and to my knowledge one of a few (if not the only) full-time American Delica. I picked her up in June 2009 and I wasted no time be for I s...

Manual Transmission Seals
I am getting ready to change out the fluid in my diffs and when I looked under the van I noticed that the rear seal on the trans seams to be leaking and I was wondering if anyone knew relevant part numbers to replace all the seals and filter for the manual transmission and t-case. I checked around t...

Re: L300 V6
It will take a lot of modifications including bodywork to get that v6 to fit in place of the 4. If you do a body lift on a delica it drops the entire engine down. I think with that drop it should be enough to fit an extra half liter. Plus I like a challenge and doing what they say can not be done. ...

I was wondering if the gurus of the Delica forum have any info on if a Montero V6, either the 3.0L or 3.5L will fit in the engine bay of the L300.

WTB - Center Curtain
I am trying to find anyone who has a center curtain (the curtain that seperates the two front seats from the rest of the van). It would be very helpful if I could get the hardware as well since it is also missing from the van. The curtains can be in any condition and any color since I am only using ...
