Tow hitch ?
Hey does anyone know anybody that installs tow hitches in the Campbell River area - or wherever. My crappy 2wd ford truck got stuck trying to pull my boat up a ramp last week and I had to get my wife in her Deli to pull both my truck and boat up the ramp! I'd rather put the hitch on the van and not ...

Re: Webasto diesel heater
Another cool heater / cook top manufacturer is Wallas http://www.scanmarineusa.com/default.html I've installed both air heaters and the cook top in boats. Expensive but really impressive I especially liked the cook tops they are super low amperage and exhausts outside, and are used to heat the cabin...

Headlight blues
So both low beams went on the van. So after searching the forum for hints I concluded it must be the daytime running light module. So after a while of searching I found it hiding behind the right headlight and it looked old and corroded especially the fuse holder. So I found one at Lordco for $90.00...

Re: Is Five star auto worth the extra money?
We bought our van last fall from 5 star and it is great ! Yes it cost more money but all the preventative work was done right by cc autos, bumpers , bashguards were freshly painted -looked brand new. I've had a few probs but were covered under warrenty. I would do it again!

Re: 1 week old 90Delica - not starting - help!
If one of your fuel lines is loose it will allow air in to the fuel system. First try pumping the primer and see if any fuel leaks out of any loose fittings. Then try bleeding the the system. This is done by loosening the bleeder a few turns (10mm wrench on fuel filter housing), put rags around the ...

Re: Delicas in the cold
We traveled to Brandon, Manitoba over the holidays and didn't have any (real) problems. The coldest we found was -38 and windchill of -47. Yuk! Had the block heater plugged in and no start problems though I had to get the 15W 40 out and put in synthetic. Sounded a little better after it initially st...

Re: Experience with Gel-Tech batteries?
Gel cell or absorbed glass mat (AGM). Is used for a deep cycle battery used in marine. Not sure that brand, sounds expensive. Try Napa? Boring tidbit, sealed.http://www.fishingandboats.com/gel-cell-battery.html But use a isolator, or 'diode pack'. Here's what i use in marine but maybe there's cheape...
