Coolant dripping near oil filter

Hi all,

Starting to see coolant dripping basically around the oil pan.

I’m hoping it’s not the head and or gasket.

I haven’t lost power and the engine oil appears normal. Black that is.

Any common places to start looking?

1991 L300 A/C Condenser Leak

Man it’s been a few years since I’ve been around. Hope you are all well. I’ve encountered a small oil leak coming from the A/C condenser below the passenger (outside). I would like to drain the pressurized system, remove the condenser, take it in for repair. Is there a drain plug or any safe way of ...

Diagnosis: A/T Temp sensor is malfunctioning. New one ordered. The photo that I posted is for a Manual Transmission. Thanks for your help.

Much thanks Growler. I checked the tranny fluid as per the manual. It was as you said. I'm hoping it's an easy fix, but I will get it to the hospital just to be sure. I will post the diagnosis here. Thanks, I've been away from this site for little while. Great help.

Fluid level is fine. Light comes on after tranny is warmed up.

Re: L300 Front End

Nice handle. To answer your question, the L300 has adjustable torsion bars. When I brought mine in for a wheel alignment, I asked them to level the van via the torsion so bars. That was 8 years ago. All is fine.

Re: What do you get for max exhaust temps (EGT)

Turn the heat on full. Open windows so you don't cook. Keep RPMS at 12 o'clock. Keep speed at 12 o'clock or slightly less. Slowly cool engine when load is reduced. Watch cars pass you. Enjoy!

Sealant For Engine Block Coolant Drain Plug.

Hey Falco,

I used a lock-tight product that is made for such application. I changed my rad fluid last year at this time. All is good. Bought in Calgary at Auto-Value.

Re: Possible oil leak locations...

After replacing the valve cover gasket and aligning the banjo bolt, I am happy to see a completely dry engine!
