Low humming noise from Air Filter. Rocker Arm?
Before I put the Rocker Arm Cover back on and get that video to you, is there a way to turn over the engine without starting it? I was hoping that might reveal a problem with the rocker arms (if one exists).

Low humming noise from Air Filter. Rocker Arm?
So... I removed the rocker arm cover following this thread http://delica.ca/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=6707&hilit=rocker+cover It looked like the previous person used sealant goo all around the cover, some of the sealant was sitting inside the cover. I played with the rockers and they seem st...

Low humming noise from Air Filter. Rocker Arm?
Hello! After many months of trying to figure out what to do with my cracked block, I decided to take a leap of faith and try JB welding it. After about a month of driving I haven't seen any leaks! :-D Since I've been driving it more often (now that its not spraying coolant everywhere), I noticed a w...

Coolant leak by the transmission?
Hey again! I ended up finding a used housing and was coolant leak free for almost 3 weeks. I began to notice the same spray pattern as described in the original post. However, this time a spot on the engine block caught my eye. The attached image shows what looks like a 2in crack in the block. With ...

Coolant leak by the transmission?
I don't know a 100% yet, the autoshop already closed and they gave me the info via a phone call. I'm going to go in tomorrow and take pictures of what I actually need. A quick google search isn't providing many avenues to a new housing :( lol

Coolant leak by the transmission?
Also if anyone knows if these parts can be sourced from the Mighty Max, Pajero, or Montero (non-diesel) I'd be pumped. I can get those parts from a local autostore. But I don't know if the pump/thermostat would be different on a gas vs diesel engine.

Coolant leak by the transmission?
Got some news (fairly good news since its not a headgasket/frost plug issue)! I need to find a thermostat, housing, and gasket as well as a radiator cap. I can see online where I can find a thermostat (I think) but to find the housing seems more difficult. Does anyone have any part numbers for the a...

Coolant leak by the transmission?
I didn't know if transmission fluid was brought to the cooler or coolant to the transmission, thanks for clearing that up! I did just get a timing belt/water pump job 3 months ago. Maybe it wasn't sealed all the way? From the residual spray, it looks like most of the coolant is coming out by where t...

Coolant leak by the transmission?
Hello Everyone! I noticed during one of my routine checks that my coolant reservoir was completely empty. There wasn't a puddle under the van so I assumed it only leaked while on the highway. I spend about 15mins on the highway to work that has a speed limit of 70 but I try to keep my RPM's under 30...

Oil Change Specs.... 1991 L300 4D56 Turbo
Hey everyone! I figure before the wisconsin winter decides to make working outside unbearable, I'd do a oil change quick. I bought two manuals off of ebay, but none of them seem to spec out a specific type of oil.... :-( From wondering through the interwebs and forum posts, I've heard that these old...

Coolant Goo Everywhere....
Thanks for the replies! I did two radiator flushes and it seems as though everything is staying a consistent color. I was really worried about it being oil. I will flush it one more time before snow starts hitting the ground and compare it to the previous two flushes. If I see any more globs I'll st...

Coolant Goo Everywhere....
Hello, this is my first post!!! I just purchased a 1991 Mitsubishi Delica Chamonix. While going over it the past week, I noticed the coolant reservoir was extremely low. I couldn't tell what kind of coolant was in it (orangish color from the very little puddle left inside the reservoir) so I decided...
