Re: L400 Weird Left Turn Signal Problems
So this is a very old post but I thought I’d check anyway. Heck you might not have the van any more by now… but I’m having exactly the same issue, and disconnecting the fried trailer box solved it. I’ve installed a new one, a similar type, combines the turn signals and brake lights for the trailer. ...

Re: FEBEST Ball Joints
Ok, so I've been looking into things further, kind of given up on FEBEST for the LLH ball joint.I've received the wrong one twice from different suppliers. Now I'm wondering what people know about the compatibility of lower ball joints between the Montero/Pajero and the Delica L400. What do people k...

Re: FEBEST Ball Joints
Well I received another LLH FEBEST ball joint today, this time ordered from Partsouq.com And again it appears to be the one for a 2WD delica, the casting has a flat bottom with a a sheet metal cover inserted, just as pictured in the manual for a 2WD delica. Anyone know anything? has FEBEST redesigne...

Re: Brake Bleeding Frustrations
How'd you make out? I changed the front right calliper and rotor a couple weeks ago and put new pads in the front right and left as well. I also removed and re-greased the slide pins on the front left and ensured proper grease on the new front right calliper. (the old calliper pins were completely d...

Re: FEBEST Ball Joints
Ok, upon further research it appears the flat bottomed balljoint is for the 2WD version of the Delica, I'd like to confirm this more but thats what I've found so far. Which means that it is not going to work on the 4WD Delica. If you have a look in the service manual on page 33A-10 you will see the ...

Re: FEBEST Ball Joints
What sort of numbers? Part number, Price? Certainly. I called FEBEST this morning, their Americas office is in Florida. They were helpful and after talking with them on the phone and sending them an email with pictures of the ball joints they explained that the difference in the two ball joints is e...

Re: FEBEST Ball Joints
Ok, the ball joints arrived today. on first inspection, no they can't be made into greasable ones with the simple addition of a nipple. I honestly have no idea why the bolts are there. looking at the casting, it could be that they were copied from a greasable ball joint and so they drilled and tappe...

Re: FEBEST Ball Joints
Well, nobody seems to be saying much on here about these. However I have had some responses on other boards and on FB groups from other parts of the world. Some say go OEM only, others don't seem to think theres a problem with sealed ball joints as opposed to greasable ones. I did get a few favourab...

FEBEST Ball Joints
Hello All, Well it looks like I'm due for lower ball joints and am thinking I might do all four. So I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with FEBEST ball joints? the lower ones are apparently drilled so a grease nipple can be installed in them, and upper ones are greasable too. I'd rather not ...

Re: L400 Procomp Shocks - confusion and quick confirmation
YF Really???? Measure 37" at the top of the wheel well. Thats where my van sits with the new rear springs. Hmm? Thanks for that, Hey, I'm just repeating what I got from CCA, they say they install their HD springs into the l400 without the addition of spacers anywhere in the back and do...

Re: L400 Procomp Shocks - confusion and quick confirmation
Thanks Falco!
Also, Talked to CCA and they say with the new HD springs they are selling, no need for spacers or adjusting the proportioning valve, the springs bring the back end back up to where it was when it left the factory
