Bike Rack on the front push bar

I had a similar issue needing to find away to haul 5 bikes and tent trailer with the Suburban. I had a front 2" reciever made up and thought I was set. What I noticed was the engine fan was engaging much more often. Temperatures also rose quicker when I had to lean on the accellerator. Took the rack off, no more temperature rising issues. I've decided not to use it anymore as I don't want to deal with a cooked motor. I now use a duel reciever hitch in the rear. Works fairly well thus far.
