Waving
All the RHD people here in SK wave at each other. If someone sees you at the Tim Hortons, they come into the lot to say hi - whether they drive a Pajero, a Cruiser, Delica or otherwise.
This has been a strange post. I never thought there would be an issue of "to wave or not to wave". Absurd really. "Hmmm, should I be friendly today? Nah, I'll be a pompus ass like yesterday."
And as a biker, the only motorcycle drivers that don't wave on the highway are the crotch rocket drivers here in SK - they needed both hands to dodge potholes and maintain control.
Maybe SK people or more friendly? Let's go with that.
It's been said that SK folks are just so greatful to meet another living soul that they almost attack newcomers when they meet them.
All the RHD people need to stick together, especially with the government zeroing in on us. We obviously have some similar interests and lifestyles if we have Delicas - good odds the driver of a passing Deli might be friend material. We are a little community. That's part of the reason I like being a Deli owner.
Maybe we should get some DOG shirts (Delica Owners Group). We could have a cartoon of a really muddy Delica and call ourselves Dirty DOGs!

The Dogs.. That's too good!
I Think its time for a new thread Thomas. Your DOGs idea is pretty good.
Delica'slexics pray at DOG.
A Delica owner from anywhere near Cape Scott would be a .... wet DOG
We could have an annual ... DOG wash.
My dog would be a DOG dog.
A Delica owner in really short shorts and a tight T-shirt would be a hot DOG. Hmmm ... That could go horribly wrong very fast.
A Delica owner that can't help but make crappy jokes would be a .... cheese DOG.
A Delica owner from Northern Finland would be a Lap DOG.....
Please stop me! I'm falling into one of my categories and I can't get up!

Re: the wave..
I'm a little concerned about the # of flies getting caught up in your ass hair.Kind of like the Sealions here on the island getting caught up in the fish farm nets.surferboy wrote:anybody came accross my wavin' yet? ...my french bare ass!! WHO cares!! sometimes, if i roll down the window just enough, and if i'm going fast enough, my ass cheeks will flap frantickly together, sort of saying congrats on the bread box sucker!! :P
I do know of a good salon that can fix that, but you being Surferboy should know all about the wax.
Please tell us about your glistening pectoral muscles as the sweat beads down on those hot summer days

I myself will just stick to waving. And although I am more partial to waving at all the RHD folk, I do find myself waving to others as well... just darned friendly up here in the north.

Oh baby!!!
But you can get a brand new '06 liter Gixr on ebay for $9200 USD or in Calgary at Blackfoot (the only place in Canada to buy a bike) for $11.9K CAD.
Or you can pay a baggillion $$ and get a Harley and look like every other mid-life crisis orthodontist in the country
Boy, Steve needs to ditch his purse and get control of that relationship

Actual Andy, as someone whom still has my class six and hasn't had a bike on the road for a decade; I have lots of respect for responsible sport bike riders. I just wouldn't be one of them (now). It was just last summer then my a friend stored his R6 at my house for a bit, and when I get that throttle in my hand I lost most of my common sense. I have no other addiction problems, but two powerful wheels just begs for me to push the limits cause I feel soooooo comfortable on a bike (it's bad). This summer I want to get a enduro and I'm thinking a 125 four stroke, slow and easy.
