Thanks. After reading a few other posts it seems like people are tapping into the left light housing and running one wire over to the right light housing under the metal strip?

that's the easy way, though I suspect that the wiring all comes from the front of the vehicle to one of the sides and then splits to the other side behind the light somewhere, so theoretically you should be able to run everything to one side (likely the right side) and not have to run a wire accross.
