The air conditioning is being annoying. Worked last summer, didn't work this spring. Kirkham did the conversion to new fittings, pressurized, found cracked condenser. I get used one from CC Autos, Kirkham installed and system filled. It lasted 1 day. So back for another diagnosis.

Hopefully something I don't have to pay for ! I dropped it off first thing this morning, they filled the system with nitrogen, and will watch the pressure and use the soapy water trick. I haven't heard yet and it's 4:30, so it doesn't sound like an easy diagnosis.

I just drove by there and I saw that it was out of the shop so that is probably good. So you will be at Peters on Thursday with the cool breezes blowing?

What did the swap over cost you? Mine is a bit weak too. I should have them look at it. Probably need a new heater core in the back too.

Turns out now the evaporator is gone. So more parts. Ugh. As for cost, I had them do the stuff with lots of other stuff; $1200 in parts from CC Auto, $1200 in parts & labour from Kirkham. Ouch, expensive month.

Yes, the 7th did happen... sort of. Myself and Carp were joined by future Delica owner and member, Curter.

I may be able to come by again and reapply a significant amount of Peter's grease... not really sure yet though.
