I took it nice and easy this morning and they didn't heat up much.
Definitely no tailgating

If the rotors are ok, then just fit new pads, and clean the sliders while the caliper is 'off', its really easy to do, just make sure you relube with rubber grease.

Thanks, in taking the van into CVI today for a quick once over and some minor work so I'll ask butch how everything looks in his eyes.

Well, according to Butch the brakes are fine. The rubbing sound is an unworn part of the rotor. He's looking into why my vehicle pulls right as I type and I'll keep everyone posted as I know you're on the edge of your seats.
