Oil Pan Leaking

Post by Morganizer »

I just noticed a leak at the front of my oil pan. Anybody got an Oil Pan Separator Tool I can borrow?

Fancy! If you get stuck, I just used a pack of Stanley knife blades and a putty knife. :-)
Nothing says "poor workmanship" more than wrinkles in the duct tape.

go to home depot and grab a putty knife. Works well enough for 3 bucks :)

Also double check the oil isnt front cover gasket... i have repaired more leaks there than from the pan.

You know what? This wasn't an oil pan gasket leak after all. This was the hint of the beginning of the Massive Oil Leak! Be afraid, be very afraid.

And check out my Massive Oil Leak post for more details.
