Funny thing. After having the SWB 2.8 for about five years, we have decided to move to a 4 dr due to a new addition to the family, and almost regrettably, I went with the 3.5L V6 Pajero. Figured it may be less maintenance long term in our new cold home of Calgary.

I was looking for a later model montero for months, but ended up with the V6 since the price was very right. We now have two 1993 Pajero's, great we're those people!

I welcome the increase in power as it eats hills, but its harder on fuel in the city. I miss driving the diesel though, it will be back on the road once we move and need two cars.

That may have been me that you saw driving to Banff!
I haven't frequented this forum much..but I thought I'd come visit again and see whats going on.
I have a 1992 Pajero 3.0 6G72. Love it. Bought it with 58000 km, now just rolled over 90 000 km..I got it for a steal. I haven't really had trouble with parts. I look up the part number here: http://mitsubishi.epc-data.com/pajero/
Then search that MB part number on rock auto or autopartsway.
Nooo problems. Let me know if you want to get out to the mountains or have any questions. Your truck looks great! Much more shiny and new than mine, thats for sure. Mine could use a clean up a bit.
