I bought this truck in May 09. Over $2500 spent on parts/maintenance since I bought it.
I like the truck I just found it wasnt my kind of vehicle.
-2.5L Turbo diesel - great mileage
- ~169,000 km, clean body inside & out
-heated leather seats
-sun roof
-power retractable mirrors
-new rubber in Jan 09 about 15ks on -- Nexen Roadian ATII
-shift on the fly 4WD (4High, 4Low, 4Low diff lock)
-two heaters (front & rear)
-gas shock drive/pass seats
-electric adjustable suspension, lots of clearance below diff and in wheel wells
-seats 7 (5 + 2 fold down rear seats)
-3 cigarette type outlets (12V)
-2 new batteries (winter package)
-compass circuit board was blown, replaced with gps
-tool kit mounted in rear door
-new sony deck + amp and sub
This JDM righthand drive 4x4 is great for camping and hunting. Handles potholes and speed bumps. Running boards and mud flaps protect paint well.
Maintenance:
Full repair records, starting with original BCAA inspection.
Aug 09:
Full engine service - valve adjust, pump timing, transmission service
Air/Fuel Filter
Timing Belt + tensioner set, Balance Belt and Drive Belts
Front engine oil seal set
Valve cover gasket set
Water pump
Reconditioned radiator
Radiator hoses, clamps, new antifreeze etc.
July 09:
Glow plugs
Glow plug temperature sender
ECU
Also ive done all regular fluid / filter maintenance / replaced headlights etc
Needed work: AC needs recharging, sunroof doesnt open(i understand it was a design defect), fuel gauge doesnt work(i use the trip counter)
and also some underbody alignment stuff.
