Oh oh, I've done it again!

Post by delicat »

I couldn't resist to venture on the dark side, again... so I got myself a sweet Pajero! Jumping the gun a bit as I just bought it last night and it's still in Japan but maybe the heated seats made me wanna brag, not sure? 8-) Or maybe it was Mararmeisto's grin as he drove away in his... I wonder if my wife would notice if I swap my Safari's front seats for those? hahaha!

Cheers!

No idea if it's got a diff lock, it doesn't really tell on the auction sheet. On my Safari is was a very nice surprised to find out it had one 'cause the auction sheet had made no mention about it. I found out from the extra pictures I received at the time...

But on this one it will be a city queen ie. my lovely wife's new toy so I'd be happy if it just had a LSD. But hey, looks like a nice ride... might have to borrow it once in a while!

Cheers.

Nice ride, but there's too many doors. If your wife doesn't want the name-branded tire cover on the rear, have her call me up - I'd take it off her hands. :-)

Are you complimenting me on my diplomacy or are you sarcastically saying "no I can't have the tire cover"? :?

Now I understand why you were so interested in looking into the engine bay of my LWB Pajero. Another WVO conversion?
Nice ride BTW.

Are you in the homeland Jaz? Remember, I'm ready to bribe your family to bring me back some parts from Australia... 8-)

Yes Luckydad, this little one will get a wvo conversion in the fall. I'll start a new thread once I get going but it should be an interesting install... Thanks again for sharing your engine bay!

And Paul, I think you deserve both version... Diplomatic yes, rear tire cover no! I did ask my wife though and she just laughed :-D .

Nope, still here, just got a loaner from a certain company we all know and love while Rusty is getting some care and attention from them - he blew a rear wheel bearing last week, to the point where the brake pedal was pulsing by about 2" under anything more than light braking.

This one is the 2.5 though, whereas you're getting the 2.8... you'll be able to do nice burnouts in that when the wife isn't looking. PLUS you don't need to put an intercooler on it, it comes equipped! Still, I'm sure there's some modifications you can do to it to make it run better ;)

They had just got the axles out and were draining off the puss. Have no clue how bad it is ~ I was pretty focused on other things at the time ~ but I'm sure you will find out before too long... :-D
