Wow, this is such a cool machine. I just purchased an L300 and am slowly working away at the conversion. Pretty cool to see what you can do with all the extra space.

Thank you for sharing, I have been searching for a jb500 thread. Mine arrive in about 2 weeks it is now at the port waiting to clear custom. It is 1994 4D56 Turbo diesel with manual transmission, 43k miles. It is interesting that you put a 32" diameter tires on it without lifting. I am curious of the cruising speed with the 32" tires. I know you mention on your thread that it handles very well.

Did you change the timing belt, water pump, seals, tensioners etc... if you did can you pls share with me your sources.

Thank you again for sharing.

It will be pretty neat to work on an L300 with a truck frame. It's been a while. Wonder how many old timers are still on here ? :-D
Older post, do you still have you Delica motorhome Jesse?

Does being a Grandpa of 3 make me an old timer? Oh, I still have 2 JDM's at home, my Surf I've had since the end of Feburary this year has seen a lot of abuse due to the Covid.

Cheers,
Kevin
