Hello there fellow van people! I may have been lurking this site for the past many years and after a very long time searching and an insurance payout on my last vehicle it was time to buy a Delica! I picked up a 1995 L-400 SWB from an awesome guy in Vancouver (Thanks Jan!). I was hoping to get it somewhere fun for a photo shoot before I posted this as who doesn't like pictures of vans in awesome places. That may have to wait for a little while... also once I figure out how to upload photos onto here but that's another topic

Right on !
I'm in Calgary just picked up one myself after waiting 3 plus years.
They peaked my interest when I searched the internet way back then! But I bought a Astro Van...... boo!!!!!!!
Knowing what I know now, I regret that decision!
They are fun and head turners.
You'll have a blast.
See you on the QE2

One day I'll get somewhere where it's not raining or a blizzard but if you see this machine driving through Alberta it's me driving it. The first picture is the day I bought it and as time has gone on, fun things have been added.

I have my insurance through Palmer Salmon Insurance LTD in Airdrie I deal with a good guy named Mark. I only have liability as my Delica doesn't qualify for anything else. I have been looking around for a company that will cover Moe then what I currently have. I'll let you know what I find. Let us know what you find.

I have mine with Co-operators

Have to pay up front for 6 months at a time.

With my insurance I have it split into 3 payments over the course of a year so it's not such a big bill to worry about.

I'd like to hear who you're with too. I'm with AMA for all my insurance needs right now, so maybe they'll be kind. Otherwise, I may shop around to get full coverage.

Try Co-operators insurance
I got full coverage including collision for $1,300 a year.
Co-operators is just brokerage but they found me the coverage I wanted for a right hand drive.
I have the purchase price and $5000 in Mechanical up grades and maintenance.
I've seen too many people roll these vans or have an accident. And not get there money back.
They are worth their weight in gold as a parts van too!
But your still out a cool Van
