Idle surging on wvo, 1200km on system -L400

Post by Glenn Delwood »

I have a surge in rpms when idling on wvo. It does not happen on diesel. The system is new (veg max) and I have around 1200km on it. I used clean dry and filtered oil from reliable source. My lift pump is faster than at the very beginning of running the system.
My first thought is filters (of some sort). Any suggestions if how to go about it?

I think Rattlebang had a thread about this not long ago. I don't know that it was resolved though.

I may have fixed it. FYI it was very likely some air. It goes out by toggling veg/diesel or opening up the filter (depending on setup.)
