This I like! But - how is this in the states with their 25 year rule? Is this only a problem if you want to register it for road use, or did someone slip it past customs?

hilarious, I want one!
Also it is funny that the auction is from Roseau, MN, USA.... I used to drive 2 hours each way to visit a girl I was dating in that town, and I recognize the gas station in the pics too. Pretty funny to come across that town again considering it has a population less than 3,000 :)

I'm pretty sure the Americans can get around the 25 yr rule just by having a registered importer import and compliance the vehicle for them. that was my understanding of a rule that doesn't affect me in the slightest so I never looked into it.

2 ways...This I like! But - how is this in the states with their 25 year rule? Is this only a problem if you want to register it for road use, or did someone slip it past customs?
1) have a registered importer "comply" it, long complicated and expensive process, not likely in this case
2) register it for "off road use" in Canada this is almost impossible, but in the US it's reasonably straight forward, not road legal, but with the "tires" this one has I'm pretty sure I know which option they went with....
