Hi guys and gals
New to the site and to the royal 400 I bought a month ago. I recently paid someone to install a 7" indash tv to replace the stock head unit. The speakers were not all that food so now I have picked up a set of 6x9 for the back and a set of component 6.5 for the doors. I was going to take out the 4 ohm dash speakers and mount the tweeters in the top of the dash to replace the stock ones. Probably disconnecting the ones behind the front seats too( tweeters ). Are the stock 2 ohm door speakers a component to the tweets on the dash? Am o going to have to run separate wires from my deck to the doors or can I just use the stock wires there. I wasn't sure since the stocks in the door were 2 ohm and the ones I bought are 4 ohm. Any suggestions?

Re: Speaker wire
Don’t remember if the factory speakers I pulled had crossover components on them, but my temporary install is sure lacking them. I plan to start my install in the next few weeks, and will be using new wire: the original wire is pretty thin.

How was your installation? We're looking to upgrade the speakers on the van as well after the installation of the new set of tires from 4Wheelonline.
