Actually it took about 11 sharpies, once I figured out what kind to use and how to use them. And only one can of varnishy/fixative. Yes, the name originates from Frank Zappa... the van had some kind of moon-buggy space feel and the name just kind of came to me. I wouldn't say it is directly influenced by Frank Zappa (bless his groovy soul) though. Kinda cool how there are so many Deli drivers in Vic... any talk of an Island meet...
