Re:
I finally have everything together to try conversion to a Delco style alternator. I have a 100 amp unit to put in which will give me power to add other electrical goodies. Mounting the vacuum pump could be difficult. There is not much room under the 'hood' but just enough space on the left side of ...

Loki, which kit did you get? I got one from Walmart that was supposed to be universal - unless an adapter was required for a 1994 model - so say the instructions. Turns out that the Duracool kit does not fit on the Delica L400. :( there was no option given I just asked for a kit and was given one :)

Re: Mitsubishi MiEV spotted
I'd like to know how they can get around the import rules, this is setting a precedent that could possibly be used to crack the whole thing wide open, but I'm no lawyer and I'm sure it would require a ton of money to even explore.

Re: Bogging at higher RPM, fine for a while after rest
It's IP. Not enough suction. Will need to put an in-line pump. Apparently the pull on the IP on the Safari's aren't too good and an in-line pump even with 100% diesel gives a good increase in smooth power up a hill. Makes sense. Pump is pushing fuel which eliminates air in the system as opposed to ...

Re: air conditioning low side
Thanks Loki! So, now I know where the ports are... The next question is, Can I use a Canadian Tire Kit to refill, or do I have to get this professionally done? I got a kit from lordco that worked pretty well, I probably would have gotten better results if I had drained the system first or something...

Re: Heater stuck on full heat!!
is it on auto when it's blowing hot? if so it could be the inside temp sensor is bad or not connected, not sure where it is in the the L400 as mine works and haven't needed to look for it :)
the other possibilities are that the wiring and or motors that control the heat ducts are discoed or broken?

taken standing in front of the van with the hood up (clearly :)) you can see the battery on the right.
you can see the cap on in the first shot and off in the second, hope this helps.

Re: 1992 Toyota Land Cruiser 80 series VX LIMITED 4200cc Diesel
Hi John, I bought the truck recently from a gentleman in Perth, Ontario. He ordered the LC from JapanPower in Ottawa in 2009 with 118100kms. My fiance refuses to drive it, that is why its up for sale. If I were to keep it i'd through on a new set of tires and have the BEBs done. Right now I like to...
