There are two non identical sides on the rubber bushings. Trim the ones with the smaller offset using a bench grinder if you have one or a file... that should work. WHen installing, you need to lift the upper shocks using a lever to get the nut on.
Good luck.

Re: Van died at the gas pump!!
Hi Adam, Assuming all your battery terminals and battery posts have been cleaned, you should get at least 14 volts on a voltmeter with the engine on idle. At 14 volts, your alternator is definitely charging your batteries. Next, you need to check the cells of your batteries using a battery load mete...

Re: Mysterious intermittent lurching
As jerking or "jack rabbit starting" of the delica is bad for the tranny (it would eventually burn the clutches out as there's a lot of parts stressed out when the van jerks forward or backward considering the weight of the delica...pulling over 2000kgs of weight abrubtly), you always woul...

Re: Mysterious intermittent lurching
Hi Pinkfingers, I'm sorry I missed you this morning. But I have another possibility of what the problem might be. How's your idle speed going? Is it consistently at 750rpm or more? What is the rpm at cold early morning start compared to a warm engine start up? The reason I'm asking is because the co...

Summer issues - more noticeable black smoke
Just a thought.... with the temperatures soaring up to the 30's, what is the effect on the fuel viscosity? At relatively higher ambient temperatures, diesel fuel flows more freely thru the injection system and thus would result to a bit more fuel going thru the injectors than it is on winter conditi...

Just a quick check on the brake pad sensors? They do squeak or squeal to let you know it needs attention.

Re: Valve siezed
Was it just one intake valve that seized? Only way it would seize is lack of lube. Or if all the intake valves are either seized or bent, then cam timing went off...maybe engine went on high rpms for a second? And the valves floated (which will make the valves hit the piston top). I would check all ...

Re: Engine Revs increase when in Neutral or Park
You may want to check the throttle cable adjustment first. It should be on the little bit of a loose side on idle. Nest, I would lubrictate the throttle itself connecte to the injection pump and make sure it is not sticking whenever you manually move the throttle. Then I would check the "idle u...

Re: So my Delica broke down today.....
Hi, Just to check on the damages if there's any.... I would do this first.. 1. I would install the camshaft with the good tight fitted dowel (you need to replace the damaged one) to hold it in place at the correct camshaft timing mark and torque the cam bolt to 45 ft-lbs. 2. Open the valve cover and...
