Steering Shaft Question and Brake Confirmation

Hi Zh You probably know by now rotors are proprietary and need be purchased through mitsubishi or a shop that sells their parts. All the other parts can be had through your local parts retailer, Montero and sport are the same parts. Check out prices they vary a lot. Bleed your brake fluid frequently...

Misfire and hesitation especially at low rpm, ignition coils?

I'd expect the engine compartment to look like that w 30K Kms. How was it rated at the auctions? Is it really that clean throughout the entire van? Does it have a new van smell? Mine was at 32k kms. I'm not asking to criticise but to complement you on an awesome purchase. You should be very happy wi...

Misfire and hesitation especially at low rpm, ignition coils?

Gill Before you buy from Rockauto check out the correct part number from Amayama or Megazip. Rockauto is a PITA to deal with, often it's better to spend more and buy from CCA or Rising Sun. They all have their quirks but thus the joy of owning a delica. If you haven't cleaned the throttle body perfe...

Misfire and hesitation especially at low rpm, ignition coils?

Pull a plug first and look at it. I know how difficult it is to get all the plugs out but pull the easy ones first. Removing the air box for plug removal is straight forward but time consuming. Also a (cheap) set of tools is needed. You'll need them if you plan to keep your L400. How many kilometers...

120V Outlet or via cigarette lighter?

Thomas
The alternator failure is often preceded by a dead battery, the message being "replace your battery when it doesn't hold a charge." The battery may need to be replaced with a larger battery when the deli arrives here.

120V Outlet or via cigarette lighter?

DA Even my 99 L400 has IMHO too light guage a wire. Size up if you can. Never assume anything till your delica arrives. The options are incredible and hopefully you will be pleasantly surprised when your "baby" arrives. No idea on the 120V(?) plug but I'd hard wire an inverter if you need the juice....

ECS shocks for PF8W

Yup great trick, love to see an L400 do that...... If only we lived in that world but back at the ranch I'm going to shorten my front wheel travel for on road, stiffen my shocks and rebuild my upper control arms. I'm looking at rebuildable front shocks as the 9000's aren't working out very well. My ...

Front differential carrier bracket bushings

Hi H I've replaced every one of the front bushings. Post a pic of the ones you are wanting info on. None were easy to replace but the only ones difficult required removal of the power steering pump, and axles. (sorry) The drivers side axle will free up quite easy but takes a little finesse. Can't re...

Dobinsons

Hey B Their HD torsion bars (Front )are of good quality. I have been using them for 2 yrs now and they haven't sagged. Both are maintaining the same height. Nothing is available in NA to compete with these. It's cheaper to buy from Dobs as they are the maker and main distributor in Aus. All the othe...

Stainless Steel Brake Caliper Pistons

Try this site for L400 pistons and many other parts . Their rubber boots didn't last long on my brake pistons but the price on the pistons was very good. https://febestparts.com/catalog/MITSUBISHI-parts/MITSUBISHI_DELICA_PD4W___PD6W___PD8W_1994-2004 rear pistons MB857613 US$17.95 free shipping in th...
