Recommendation for brake work

Max The brakes start off soft after what you've done and a good indication of caliper problems comes as the brake pedal tension increases. Probably not air in the lines. John I use a plastic one way flow valve in my princess auto bleed bottle, looping the tubing up to the bleed bottle. You can see t...

Thinner rotors warp faster. Years ago I was told delica rotors are ground by very few places because of the center hub size. A friend of Mardy refaced a front rotor for me but I buy new rotors now. love to hear your experience with this. The problem with rebuilding calipers lies with replacement rub...

Hi I am Wrongway I Bought one

WW Welcome aboard. You probably know all this but... The 4x4 blinking light is only cosmetic, affects nothing at all so can be lived with. Wheel play can be a bearing but usually it's tie rods or ball joints. Check your tire wear, compare inside to outside of the front wheel tread. Jack up the front...

Unfortunately there seems no solution for caliper problems on the delicas or garages that have a lasting solution. The pistons seize in the cast bodies and stick so you drag the brakes on the rotor (noise). Sometimes it's a question of chicken or egg but you end up changing the calipers, rotors, and...

front suspension bushings ?

I use febest for a lot of my deli "rubber" parts. Go to their web site and explore what they carry, then look on Ebay for their product.

L400 series 2 drivers side headlight case and bulbs complete

I have an L400 series 2 drivers side headlight, case and bulbs complete, for sale. The latest L400 series 2 headlights are different, don't match the original series 2 headlight and have a hefty price increase. This is a clear rim (see pic) for $125 firm. Fair price plus postage unless you can pick ...

2000 V6 Delica 6g72 Head gasket job/kit

I found an interesting You tube video on when not to change the head gasket. It goes through, seemingly, all the tests you could do troubleshooting head gasket symptoms so you don't change it when not needed. Called "Schrodingers Box" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVn-IDi7da8 He also lis...

2000 V6 Delica recommended maintenance

Did you lose cooling fluid or overpressure the cooling system ? I can't see any bubbles in my cooling bottle, too difficult to see in it. just curious cuz I've developed a slight overheating issue as well. i may be a little paranoid but I'm monitoring it.

Fair price on delica purchase?

Seems very high. If it causes you no grief for 2 years then it's a bargain.
Enjoy
