ECS shocks for PF8W

Yup great trick, love to see an L400 do that...... If only we lived in that world but back at the ranch I'm going to shorten my front wheel travel for on road, stiffen my shocks and rebuild my upper control arms. I'm looking at rebuildable front shocks as the 9000's aren't working out very well. My ...

Front differential carrier bracket bushings

Hi H I've replaced every one of the front bushings. Post a pic of the ones you are wanting info on. None were easy to replace but the only ones difficult required removal of the power steering pump, and axles. (sorry) The drivers side axle will free up quite easy but takes a little finesse. Can't re...

Dobinsons

Hey B Their HD torsion bars (Front )are of good quality. I have been using them for 2 yrs now and they haven't sagged. Both are maintaining the same height. Nothing is available in NA to compete with these. It's cheaper to buy from Dobs as they are the maker and main distributor in Aus. All the othe...

Stainless Steel Brake Caliper Pistons

Try this site for L400 pistons and many other parts . Their rubber boots didn't last long on my brake pistons but the price on the pistons was very good. https://febestparts.com/catalog/MITSUBISHI-parts/MITSUBISHI_DELICA_PD4W___PD6W___PD8W_1994-2004 rear pistons MB857613 US$17.95 free shipping in th...

Water pump replacement bolts

Bottom out a straw (or?) into the bolt holes for the correct length bolt in each hole. The correct torque is in the torque table, "Technical Referance Libraries :M " for your vehicle.

$850 seems like a great price. Lots cheaper than buying here. Of course shipping has to be added on too.

ECS shocks for PF8W

I don't know what Mitsubishi Japan used as "stock" shocks for new vehicles, I don't think it was Ranchos or ProComps They seem proprietary but little information comes out of Japan. May be the language barrier.... Ironman shock ads mention disconnecting the ECS before using their shocks. Most owner...

Decent shop in Kelowna BC for OoP?

Phone RB auto in maple Ridge 604 380 2100. They were wrecking a few L400s a while back, probably series 1 but you never know, not sure if they could tell the difference.
$450 a side is painful.

harmonic balancer removal tool needed

Another delica owner just reminded me of how to break the HB nut free . I had forgotten freeing it this way years ago. Easy peasy.. With the 22mm socket on the nut place an extension on the ratchet bar so the ends rests securely on the floor under the van. Disconnect the plug leads so the engine won...
