Re: Now it's for real:)

That's classic. Could u imagine getting pulled over and you've got the microphone in you hands singing Dolly Parton's Islands in The Stream?? You'd get a ticket for sure. I was a VW Westy guy for years and now it's like starting all over again. I thought the L300 model (that looks like a mini bus) w...

Delica curtains

I recently purchased a '93 Super Exceed High Roof and I'd like to put some in where they once were. I failed Home Ec in high school, so it aint going to be me making them. Suzy Home Maker, Where ...

Re: Now it's for real:)

No not yet. I'm installing a new cd player in the front of the van. I'm wondering if that will get it to work.

More importantly, the ice maker works mint!!

And that's what I call prioritizing...

Now it's for real:)

Hello all, So I joined the forum back in September stating I was looking to maybe purchase a Delica.... And then I did. I bought a green '93 Super Exceed with all of the bells and whistles. It only has 72,000 original kms on the clock and it drives out like a dream. I've already fallen in love with ...

Re: Left hand drive Delicas

Super, thanks.

I actually called Craig and talked to him about the insurance and he's looking into it for me. I'm going down to London this week to see him. He seems like a nice guy and very knowledgable.

I'm excited to check out the van and maybe crack a deal.

Left hand drive Delicas

Hey there, The last thing I posted on here was how expensive insurance is in Ontario for a right hand drive vehicle. So I'm at a buddy's place over the weekend and he's married to a Phillipino. He's a car guy like myself & well travelled to boot. We got talking about the Delicas & he told me they ha...

Re: Delica Newbee

Thanks for the advice guys. I like the older bus type of Delica which is what I'm looking at. I agree with you on the insurance. The government mandates that we all have insurance but does not regulate the insurance companies. So the insurance companies start acting like the government deciding how ...

Re: Delica Newbee

Well now I know why there aren't too many Delicas on the roads in Ontario. I just got off the phone with my insurance agent and that said it all.... $2,500 per year if I'm lucky!! Maybe more depending on the details. So that takes care of the Delica dream for now. Thank you for the advice I recieved...

Re: Delica Newbee

Hey there, I live in Peterborough Ontario, just north of Toronto. The truth is I'm not really an off road guy. It would only be driven to work and around town. I just like the idea of 4 wheel drive in the winter. And I've always been fond of Diesels. The Delica in question looks to be in mint condit...

Delica Newbee

Greetings folks, My name is Phil and I'm from Ontario. I don't actually own a Delica as of yet but I'm seriously considering buying one as my next vehicle. I found a really nice '92 with all the bells and whistles fairly close to where I live. Of course being so new to this, I'm a little apprehensiv...
