Re: What if there was a JDM publication from Canada?
I would be in. I posed this question a while ago as I am adicted to VW Camper and bus and my yearly subscription from the UK is a measley $120. Falco has some online articles that are pretty cool, but some new stuff would be sweet- especially with the L400's 8-) . We could even put it at the checko...

Yeah, can't see that working out too well. Unless I lived out of my vehicle like Ricky from The Trailer Park Boys. And that's not going to happen!!!

Re: BRRRRRRRR........
Yeah, what I didn't know was to keep the engine cranking with the starter even if the engin is starting to fire. My VW mechanic friend gave me that little tip and its the only way I could get it to start and stay running. That's a good tip to put on here for sure. This morning I got a ride to work a...

At what point do you decide it's too fu*%ing cold to start your Delica?? Today my friends..... Today!! I went outside. It was -25 here in Peterborough, Ontario this morning. I had my van plugged in and I went to give her a crank. It cranked all right but didn't start. Eventually it fired but died. T...

Yeah, that tics off the boxes. Very cool. The ones I've been looking at have a bed over the drivers area. It doesn't look lith this one would. Still pretty awesome. And there seems to be quite a few of these over in Japan. Anyway I'm still looking:)

Re: Inline coolant heater
I had considered the same thing for my '93 Super Exceed. I ended up going with a magnetic block heater that was recommended by a few people I talked to. Anyway it's super easy to install and up to now, has worked well. I live in Ontario and the weather hasn't been too harsh. But when it gets below -...

Re: Rant
$908.00?? That's a steal!!!!!! Here in Peterborough Ont. the parts place gets excited when I come in. And it's usually what are you driving now?? Then they come to see for themselves. Helpful and friendly:) I've had problems trying to get an alignment. The best place in town is reluctant, but please...

Re: Japanese Motorhomes
That looks cool too. But I'm kind of down to an Isuzu Elf with an Outback Express camper on the rear. Man, 4 by 4 diesel with a 3 or 4 litre engine!!!! That's what I'm talking bout!! The interiors look totally practical with all the amenities, yet the overall size of the camper seems small. It's a s...

Re: Japanese Motorhomes
I already have an importer but I've looked at the silk road stuff just out of interest. There's a ton of cool stuff out there. I've even looked at those Karman Gypseys. They're cool however, then tend to leak over time and if I'm not mistaken, the frame on the inside of the camper body was made of w...

Yeah, that last pic is what I've been looking at. Sorry I'm still kinda new to this. Do you mean 2 as in like 2 out of 5 stars?? I've been told they don't go that cheap at auction and when you get it here obviously the electrics woild have to be dealt with and possibly the propane as well. Not sure ...

Japanese Motorhomes
Sup folks?? So after purchasing my first Delica back in September of 2012, I've become completely infatuated with this diesel Japanese market thing. So much so that I'm now interested in a Motorhome from Japan. If you do a bit of searching on the net you can find some pretty cool examples. Not just ...
