Re: Looking for advice on next vehicle
This has been great information. I think I kind of understood this before but to see it all written out has really helped me focus my shopping. Now the only problem is to I buy in Alberta or fly out to BC. One step at a time I guess. Oh, on a positive note - the insurance company was very good with ...

Re: Looking for advice on next vehicle
Excellent. This the kind of stuff I need to know.
Can you tell me why? Fuel efficiency? Power? Reliability? I've been in a 1992 L300 for 3 years now.

Looking for advice on next vehicle
Last month my Delica was rear-ended and I am sure will be write off. While that decision is being made I am beginning to look at new options. I am in Alberta and would prefer to buy from Alberta so I don't have to do another out of province inspection. Right now I'm looking at a Delica in Lethbridge...

Inline coolant heater
Hello all - I am looking at getting an inline coolant heater installed in my 92 delica. I have a mechanic ready to do it I just need to get the actual unit.
If anyone has any advice on where to get one, what model to get, and any other thoughts, that would be great.
Thanks a lot.
Robin

Re: Red Deer Alberta OOP inspection?
I would do it in Vancouver but I can tell you they will not even look at your reciepts. My Delica had the OOP down in BC and I had reciepts but they just glanced at them and said 'sorry, we have to do the OOP from scratch here.' And it is WAY more detailed an inspection here in Alberta. That said, I...

Red Deer Alberta OOP inspection?
I am picking up my Delica tomorrow and I will have to get an OOP inspection. Now, I can go to Calgary and leave it at a shop (I hear Prostar is good and I have called them - they are inexpensive too) but I was wondering if anyone knows of a place in Red Deer where I can go? It would be so much easie...

Re: Tall guy in a low roof
It is a bit tight but I do fit into the Low Roof. So I bought it. Again, I can't wait to take possession and get on the road!

Tall guy in a low roof
I can't seem to find the actual interior height difference for either the L300 or L400.
Does anyone else 6'4" or higher have any experience (good or bad) with driving while in a Low Roof Delica?
Thanks!

Re: Looking to buy from Alberta - advice?
Thanks Mardy and Rod - you are reaffirming my thoughts. I don't want to rush into things I just know that once school starts, my hunt will be over until the spring.
I think I will be calling Mardy and/or heading to Vancouver.

Looking to buy from Alberta - advice?
Hello, I am new to the forum but have been watching now for a bit and I have been looking for the right opportunity to purchase a Delica (L300 preferably). However, as I live in Alberta, my options are limited and I am looking for a bit of advice - most Delicas I am finding online are on the west co...
