Re: Would YOU pay 19k for an L300?
From Arizona, wouldn't it have been easier to go through someone in BC? What exactly were you looking for in an L300 to be willing to pay that much? Even in the time I've been living in Ontario, RightDrive has gotten way better to deal with. Daryl (parts) has been great to get me little aftermarket...

Re: Would YOU pay 19k for an L300?
I'd guess they are aiming at the collector market - no one would pay that much for a daily driver. Hi. My name's Brian. I'm not rich. I will be spending US$15-17k on my L300 through Right Drive within the year (hopefully within the next 6-8 months). Could I get one cheaper? Yes. Thing is, I'm willi...

Re: islamic state hand out new curriculum to.... Delica driv
One thing that has caught my attention is the rifle that the militant (handing out copies of the Qur'an) is wearing is an M16. That's an American issue firearm. I wonder where he got it from? Also, note the blue jeans. Couldn't help but think that guy, sans towel and rifle, would look like a typica...

Re: Delica in the USA.
Hey David, I'm in the same boat. In fact, just made a trip up to Toronto last week to test drive one headed to California in the next couple months (waiting on MFG date). You might be surprised to know the 4D56T diesel was sold in the MightyMax pickup, though they're fairly rare. Given their age, I ...

Re: My quest for a proper Delica here in the USA!!
Spun a main bearing in my Pajero tonight in Phoenix. Need good news like this.
Also, I believe the proper response is "pics or it didn't happen!"

Re: My quest for a proper Delica here in the USA!!
Haha. Smell? That's interesting. I think what finally put me over the edge on an 89 is the possible big sunroof, believe it or not. My Pajero had skidding windows like the pre-facelift models, and I really get a lot of use out of them. (Loading a baby into the car seat, for example.) The steel wheel...

Re: My quest for a proper Delica here in the USA!!
AWESOME! Did I just see this van on a Bansai Rides YouTube video? Looks great, man. Looks really great. In fact, I was just thinking the other day how I might want to forgo the facelifted 90 in favor of a blue over white 89. Headed to Canada next month to get things started. Again, congrats. Looks f...

Preparing to import. Colors/options I don't know I want yet?
Hey, everybody. Appreciate the insights in advance. :M This fall, I'll be putting cash on the table at RightDrive to start the import process on my US-bound, 1990 Delica. I've got a pretty good idea what I want, but I'm hoping you - likely far more familiar with the world of Delicas - can point me t...

Not me, but pretty much exactly what I want when I buy one later this year. (Minus the rust.)

DriveTime commercials: 2WD Delica on TV
You guys might have already seen this, but I don't have TV at home and only caught a glimpse on the telly at work moments ago. Thought it was neat to see a Delica, even if a "lesser" version. This is the one I saw: Curbed by Credit Looked up just in time to catch this van pulling into a de...

August 18-20, 2014 - Clockwise Lap of Lake Erie
Hola, Amigos! I'm a little less than a year out from importing my Star Wagon to Arizona, but will be in your neck of the woods on an automotive adventure third week of August of this year and would like to meet some of you if possible. I'll be making a lap of Lake Erie, but that doesn't mean anyone ...

Re: Crimea, River Of Woes (thank god for punctuation).
Perhaps we should all go purchase buckshot in case some terrorists decide to fly a Boeing 777 into our houses. We can stand on our roofs and defend our homes, or perhaps play a fiddle. I guess I'm feeling a little depressed about it all. And yet, you maintain a sense of humor through it all, mate. ...
