Lonsdale

Well after that awesome win yesterday, we walked down to Lonsdale. Just something to do...well I had no idea how nuts it would be. Just like a mini Robson St.

It's was pretty cool to see all those flags...sadly no Deli's were spotted.

Way to go Canada!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very nice. I take it they are pricier then L300/L400?

Are they not used by N.A.T.O?

3 flags/ no wave

So who is cruising around the North Shore with 3 flags strapped to your roof rack? I am trying to put names to the faces(Delis'). About the no wave, I was zoned today when I was at a stop light or sign and my wife said, "that person waved at you". So whomever was driving the little Sambar ...

Re: any hints for parking or at the Olympics ?

Friends told me they went to G.I. last Saturday and had no issues. Said there was lots of parking there.
What we did was park on Penticton just next to the Nanaimo Sky train and went that way. If you park on Penticton about 3 blocks down from the sky train, there is parking.

Re: Thule/ Tent Trailer

Thanks, but thinking that wouldn't work on the van as I need to attach the trailer. Still, would like to know if I could add it to the rear of the trailer, or am I asking a quick death of the deli towing all that?

Re: Russian Olympic support fleet

Ouch. It was $18 per adult and $8 for 2-10 years olds. To steep for us. We walked down from the Highway in the rain. Oh well the exercise was good.

Re: Thule/ Tent Trailer

I have seen trailers with them on, but they are probably done at the factory. I do have a thule and carrier on my Deli, I just want the extra space. My tent trailer lacks storage space, unlike my Boler which had more. Do not worry, I will not MacGyver it. Maybe I will add a basket to the rear bumper...
