Re: Bringing a car from BC to Calgary, AB
Thanks! I'll check them out. Are there any shops that work with this kind of vehicles? I'm looking for some places that can do maintenance such as oil changes and repairs. What should I prepare for as for OOP? What are they actually looking for? i had a lot of luck with kirkham auto down on horton r...

Bringing a car from BC to Calgary, AB
Hi, I'm thinking about moving from Vancouver to Calgary. I own '91 Pajero which was bought 3 years ago from VI Custom Cars Import in Parksville. I assume that they completed all the inspections before selling it to me. How do I bring the car from BC to Alberta? Do I still need to pass an Alberta ins...

Strange behavior
Hello, My wife and I took our 91 Pajero on a road trip today. We were planning to drive from Vancouver to Calgary for Christmas with my family. As we were approaching Kamloops the car started coughing and puffing out white clouds of smoke. The engine almost lost the power and finally died. Fortunate...

Re: Biodiesel problem
It seems like Butch's Delica tune fixed the problem. I tried B20 at first and it didn't smoke. Now I'm running B50, and there is no smoke! But it seems like the consumption went up a bit.

Fuel lines replacement
Hi all,
I was wondering, which of the fuel lines need replacement to run B100 in Delica/Pajero? I've heard there are 5 rubber hoses that need to be replaced.
Thanks!

Thank you guys for the replies!
Would you also recommend using a radiator flush like the ones they sell at Canadian Tire?

Coolant change
Hello! As winter gets closer I'd like to prepare my Pajero for skiing trips to cold places (like Alberta :) In order to do so I plan to change the coolant first (who knows what they've used there in Japan, maybe its water). Does anybody have any recommendations as to which coolant to use and at what...

Re: Biodiesel problem
even B100 like i use has only an 8% loss in power, but you should have Less smoke, I dont notice any loss in power, have you checked your egr valve, I would start with that, also take off the hose from your air filter to the turbo, give that a good cleaning they tend to fill up with oily gunk that ...

Re: Biodiesel problem
I have bought B20 from autogas propane in Burnaby and my van ran just fine on it, no extra smoke, some power loss and fuel consumption went way up (so it wasn't worth it since it was the same price as petro-diesel) so I don't think it's their fuel causing the problem... Not sure what it could be th...

Re: Biodiesel problem
Both times I filled at Autogas Propane. I was thinking that they have low quality biodiesel, but gas station attendant told me that he saw many Delicas and Pajeros filling with biodiesel there. So others must not have those problems.

Biodiesel problem
Hello, I'm having a problem using biodiesel in my Pajero. Twice I've tried filling it with B20 and both times I had some power loss and heavy smoke under load. I tried changing fuel filter but it didn't make any noticeable changes. Going back to regular diesel seems to fix these problems. I wonder w...
