I went back to the shop and checked, it was not dexcool as I had thought, but a long life coolant, still orange in colour. That is why I assumed dexcool. Just doing some searching and found 11v glow plugs at the Pajero shop UK. They ran about 25 pounds for a set of 4. They are the green tops for the 4m40 motor. Adam.

I have a 1994 L 400 SWB with the 5sp manual. I managed to partially roll it, but the drive train and chassis is still in good working order. I haven't decided whether to part it out or repair the body damage. It has a 4m40t with 87 k on the clock. The only real issue is that I am on the East Coast. ...

Hello, I am a newer owner of a L 400 SWB manual 1994 and soon to have a 1995 Pajero with the same 4M40 engine. I have been hooked on diesel vehicles since buying an old 1996 Passat TD, since then, I have owned two Jetta tdi wagons( just sold the 2005) and an 06 Jeep Liberty CRD (Soon to be selling)....
