Re: Emergency kit for winter?
That's a good start; some of the items I didn't even think about in the first place... I won't be heading out to the back country it's more about being prepared for a break down, heavy snowfall or something else unpredictable... Fire, water, food and shelter - I'm not quite sure about the shelter pa...

Re: Hyper Voltage Stabilizer
Wo'nt have any effect on the deli, the battery itself is a large capacitor, slightly slower but same idea... There are devices around to prevent sulphuration and premature dead of your battery, those things do actually work.. For the voltage stabilizer, just buy the largest capacitor you can find an...

Re: Sealant For Engine Block Coolant Drain Plug.
Hey!! Never, ever, use distilled water since it will speed up corrosion of aluminum parts due to the minimized amount of ions in it. Use boiled water instead. Google the bad effects of distilled water on the engine, since I won't be able to explain it in english due to all the chemical terms.. Cheer...

L300 - How are your hitches mounted??
Hi! I've seen quite a few great looking receiver hitches / tow hitches on this site, it looks as if tey were all pretty sturdy... Over here in Germany we only have the odd towbars, nothing special, nothing rigid, nothing rugged. In the 4x4travel.org forum, the question came up, how to put some extra...

I'm in Australia right now and found an 1996 L300 4x4 Delica Auto with Oil cooler and Aircon around the front Bumper. Now I'd like to put on a bullbar but could only find one off a 2wd as a c...
