Re: Left Side Sterring Wheel - Where to get ?
Every now and then they pop up in my home country... Switzerland has very, very strict licensing conditions (they want old stuff off the road)... So if it's still being sold for the domestic market, it has to pass strictest government motor-vehicle inspection every 2 years, and would be as good or b...

Re: Delica Model Car
Correct... Purchase price was something like U$ 22 or so - the rest shipping/handling... I believe I may be forgetting tax upon import... But I don't know that anymore... Anyway... At the end my visa was billed $ 50.00...

Re: Delica Model Car
Uh Oh... old post - but the plastic model is still kicking around....: I have an "un-built", originally packed model like the one pictured in this post available... ordered it for $ 50.00 at the time (2009) of the original post. Never got around to building it - and don't have the real del...

Re: EGR delete a bad idea?
My cylinderhead had cracked with EGR open... Nothing blanked off... When I finally blanked it after getting a new head installed, it went better, faster and appeared to not go anywhere near the temps prior (but I also put a bigger diameter, shorter and less restrictive exhaust on and put a new rad, ...

What is the ultimate Zombie-Apocalypse "Response Vehicle"?
Maybe this one (as seen in Coquitlam a few days ago)? :-) http://i549.photobucket.com/albums/ii398/delica1993/ZombieResponseVehicle2_zpse0864abf.jpg I personally don't think that this "Official Zombie Outbreak Response Vehicle" would fare any better than any other road vehicle... If it cam...

No idling allowed
Had to Laugh Out Loud when I read that one - at Wal Mart in Burnaby... How on earth could you leave your engine "idling" when your engine is shut off? http://i549.photobucket.com/albums/ii398/delica1993/idle.jpg Oh well... it is, still, commendable that they at least try to deal with the i...

Re: Japan vs Korea
By the way.... Love the Sportage... Had a Kia Soul before... Great car too, but just a tad small for us... The Sportage is an excellent, and cost efficient alternative to the CRV's, Outlanders, Rogue's and RAV4's... And it even looks better (in my humble opionion...)... Now, this has really nothing ...

let's do another IKEA meet... How about March 15th
How about next week, say Thursday, the 15th of March... Starting around 6:30pm... Or whenever people will start to show up? As always, if the weather sucks, we could go underground... And get a cheap meatballs and mashed potatoe deal for $ 3.99... PS: IKEA Coquitlam, that is...

Re: Japan vs Korea
Well, just to add my two cents... I have a Japanese vehicle (1993 Delica L300) and a Korean vehicle (2012 Kia Sportage)... Today, with the exeption of maybe Mazda and Mitsubishi, most Toyota's and Honda's that cruise around in North America, are actually made in North America... Subsequently, so I a...

Oversized Wintertire - brand, size, price, where?
Hi everybody, I know, I know... there are tons of posts and threads on tires here... but feeling a bit lazy, rather than searching, piecing together and making a wrong assumption after all (since I know absolutely nothing about tires, other than that they roll on the road) I would like to ask a coup...

Oil drip - catch tray or drip tray
Ok, so my van has been dripping oil since the very first day I got it... At times a bit more, after various new gaskets and seals being installed, a bit less... But it continues to leave little black marks on every pavement it visits... I find it very annoying and - if my memory serves me right - I ...

Re: What are these switches for?
I think the simpliest thing would be to flick the switches and see what happens... Maybe you want to take cover... In case you initiated the self destruction sequence
