Show off your LARGER than life!

Post by delicat »

I thought of starting a new fun post of pictures of your Deli beside larger than life objects. Let's bring it on!

So here I go, I'll get the ball rolling:

These two are dedicated to Erebus and the Alberta crew...

After Oil, I remember you had one from Oregon (I had taken the same pic with my VW years ago...)

Although I've seen all those sights, I didn't get pictures of my Delica next to any of them. Iin fact those "beer cans" (2 hay bales stacked on top of eachother and wrapped in a banner) are becoming quite popular around here, you can't leave the city limits without seeing them somewhere.

here's one I can find though...

This is a bucket used to scoop up coal in a mining operation in Estevan Saskatchewan... I don't know about "larger than life", but it's certainly "larger than delica"!

You sure have a fascination with large objects... compensating for something are we?

Kidding, you don't drive an F-350 with EXXXTREME airbrushed on the back or anything... haha.

Delete those pic's of Big Rock, next to Kokanee (since they were bought by Labatt's), it's one of the worst Domestic Beers on the market! (and yes I'm an Albertan).

And as I know this post is really going to stir up some disagreement, let me say this, would any company that private labels beer for President's Choice really be one you'd take pride in?

BTW, there is a new law being tabled in the legislature that proposes that anyone caught driving a Delica AND transporting either of these two brands of beer automatically have fines doubled and their Delica confiscated.

The fly rod is awesome!

These are the king of pictures I was thinking of, more so than simply larger than a Delica (anyone could take a picture of a semi-truck beside a Delica...).

I had to laugh at Adrock's comment... 8-) , maybe it's got some truth to it!!! I already had a bunch of those pictures while going on road trips with my old vw bus but since she's gone it only sounds right to get it started again with the new one...

There must be more out there...

Well hey, it's not my Delica... but I was driven around in it when we went on a hot air balloon trip during Summer 2007... and in comparison to the size of the balloon, the "larger than life" thing really applies too....

Cheers,
Chris

We found this little guy guarding California route 89 near Shasta on the last trip down to Mx. He looks kind of scary but didn't
mind having his picture taken.
