They are very hard to come by.
Most of them are high mileage. I believe that there are a few out of Thailand and the Phillipines as well as Spain.
Your best shot is to contact an importer and ask if they can source one. They do pop up from time to time.

Mr Flibble is right,
Left hand drive's usually come from countries where they're used and abused beyond their value....
I'm from Ontario and considered left hand drive myself when I was originally looking for my first Delica. I Just thought it might be easier to deal with.
But in the end I settled for a sweet van from Bonsai Rides out of London Ontario.
I feel for you. I've heard that Quebec is no longer allowing RHD cars to be licensed in that province which is ridiculous really... In Ontario, I'm hearing insurance companies are no longer interested in insuring these vehicles. I guess they're making enough money off of everything else....
Good luck with the search and keep us posted. I'm sure there are a few decent lefty's out there if you're willing do to a little searching:)

Re: Left Side Sterring Wheel - Where to get ?
Every now and then they pop up in my home country... Switzerland has very, very strict licensing conditions (they want old stuff off the road)... So if it's still being sold for the domestic market, it has to pass strictest government motor-vehicle inspection every 2 years, and would be as good or better than stuff coming with clogged radiators from Japan.
The regulations importing from Europe are the same as from Japan... Here is one for CHF 4'900 (approx. CAD 5'400.00) but it says price is negotiable. Being from the Swiss market it's (of course) LHD and has the appropriate headlights and all...

Here's another one - but the price is a bit nasty, particularly once you look at transporting and importing... - and it's not a window van...

Cheers,

Re: Left Side Sterring Wheel - Where to get ?
Thanks everyone for your inputs ! No, since I first post this message, here is what I found: I can get a LHD from Europe but bringing it overhere and taxes will get me to double the price all of you are paying right now for a clean RHD. Taiwan and Philipines: not as hight in quality and did not find a Canadian importer. NOW, this afternoon, after having check the Quebec RHD banned, I did notice that 25 years old RHD are alloud and will have to pass antique car regulation before being alloud to be regeristed (plate) here in Quebec
. So good news, as I can see some 19989 Delica for sale
Now, I would like to now in what whay are these 1989 and older Delica compare to 1989 and later ? Are all (almost all) parts compatible ? My point is if I can only get a clean 25 yo Delica register over here, I can even get a more recent too (1989 and later) and keep it for spare parts, for the same money for having one LHD from overseas. Any thoughts ? Suggestions ? Much Thanks.
Note: I still need the Delica to be Diesel, 4X4 and reliable.
