VOTE - The New 2007 Delica Meet

Right now this should be considered for a general idea only of where people desire to go and gather. Hey if it leads to more then one Deli meet; all the better. If they is more suggestions let me know, this poll is only set for 30 days. After meeting many of you, everybody's a very together people and there'll be no problem on getting a location settled.

Edit - I couldn't cover all of BC, sorry Josh and James; just tried to picture vancouver as the center hub, given that the more Delica's reside there. And of course our meets shouldn't be limited to Deli's only, guests would just leave wanting one of there own.

I am from the way North but I am guessing most people won't come this far. I am therefore down with a Westcoast meet.

We have a thread going for a 2008 meet in Banff Jasper area. Anyone up for it? Check the post. We're hoping to be there late June early July 2008. Going to the icefeilds to get pictures of the Delis with their big brother The SnowCoach.

I like the idea to meet in Banff. But since I live on the North Island I would like to see an Island meet between now and the big meet being planned by Thomas.

I think the North Island has more back country and rugged roads ending at uncrowded camping than the mid Island does and would prefer the meet up north. But I am up for wherever the majority ends up.

I need to explore the island. But I love northern B.C., not real northern B.C., but you know, north of me haha. I'll head out anywhere. IT would be a shame if Josh and James cousln't make it, I don't think mitch can push to me to abuse my van all on his own.

Who said we only have to have 1 more? I like the idea of hope-princeton-osoyoos.... but i'm putting my foot down on Grand Forks, I have had nothing but bad experiences in that town. I hate it with a passion.

im pretty easy.. are we still wheelin? not going to travel too far for a show & shine picnic. my vote is chilcoutin/ caribou or okanagan.. great access to back country exploring and camping that you could still do a lap (not coming back out the way you came)

Mitch,

I figure you will come up to Jame's neck of the woods at some point this summer right? If so why not turn it into a meet? I could swing down... and I am sure you could convince a few others to go up with you. A meet in the Cariboo would be top notch.

I am up for anything on the island , I just moved from Jasper to the island .I used to own the Petro-Canada gas station / service shop on the west of Jasper and i have ridden the snowcoaches so many times and ridden the tramway and the boat ride up maligne Lake , everytime we had visitors from out if town .I would love to explore the new surroundings on Vancouver Island as I have not had time to get out and about here . I have spent most of my time establishing my workshop here and will take any opportunity to see the sights .
