Mitsubishi Delica L400 production commenced in 1994 -- After much anticipation, the L400 arrived on Canadian Soil in 2009!

Re: Question about changing fuel filter

Post by RMI »

Hello,
We stock many parts for Delica L300 and L400, including filters. Fuel filter is made in Japan and oil filters are genuine Mitsubishi.

Fuel filter - $38ea (Nitto brand)
Oil filter - $36ea (Genuine Mitsubishi) 10,000km filter.
Thank you,

John Hamilton

Can the filter be replaced without the use of a vice? What could I use instead without damaging any parts?

I usually use my hands, seriously. One time I came across a fuel filter where I needed to us a pair of channel lock pliers to loosen off the water trap ~ usually with mine I just unscrew.

When you take it off be aware that it's full of diesel, eh? Unscrew the filter while over a container, such as a plastic washing up basin.
