Re: Question about changing fuel filter
Just wanted to bump this.. excellent thread
My filters I get from Custom Truck and order them in 6 packs
Baldwins for the L300
under $20 for the fuel and oil filters

Re: Question about changing fuel filter
Can the filter be replaced without the use of a vice? What could I use instead without damaging any parts?

Re: Question about changing fuel filter
I usually use my hands, seriously. One time I came across a fuel filter where I needed to us a pair of channel lock pliers to loosen off the water trap ~ usually with mine I just unscrew.insideout wrote:Can the filter be replaced without the use of a vice? When you take it off be aware that it's full of diesel, eh? Unscrew the filter while over a container, such as a plastic washing up basin.insideout wrote:Great news, thanks Falco!
