Broke my Drivers Seat - Stripped bolts! Where to find more?

Post by Mr. Flibble »

So, I removed my drivers seat today to replace the heated seat elements (directions to follow in the other thread) when I finished, I brought my seat back out and began to tighten the bolts. Much to my dismay, I found that two of the bolts stripped! So, now I can't safely drive my Delica!

(I am going to try stealing 2 bolts from the passengers seat as a temp fix).

I went to Home Depot, and they had nothing. Does Mitsubishi proper have bolts for the Montero that would work? Is there a real risk that I need to get the holes re-threaded now?

We would ship them to you if you need.
No charge of course.
Lordco has them in stock, for sure.

Canadian Tire has decent Metric fasteners,
if you are in Victoria there was and hopefully
still is a company called "Fastener Force Five"
that kicks supreme ass at coming up with
metric stuff.

Still free and delivered is better.

Try Auto Zone or NAPA.
They should have them in stock.

Thanks. Just stole the identical bolts from the rails of the middle seats, since I don't need anyone to sit in there. Guess I should also invest in a tap and die set as well.
