Everyone makes good points. However, it's hard to take a guy seriously who makes one accusatory post on our forum and then disappears. He didn't want advice when he bought his delicas, he doesn't seem to want it now. Without more information it's hard to think of his post as anything other than slander.

Good info from Jenson though - if you did buy from Silk Road, seems prudent to have a look at your DRL module.

I am glad (not really) that I was not alone with getting a 'special' DRL from Silk Road. Below is the image of what I removed because of the problem with the turn lights I got one day. You can guess how it was connected and mounted. Did I hear 'nice guys'? Hmm...

To reply to Glenn, I haven't disapperared and have been follow this topic. I appreciate the input from everybody whether it has been positive or negative. I chose to reply to most of the posts in private messages and have had some good conversations with other owners. Due to this matter going to court, there are certain aspects of the mechanic's negligent work that I don't want to expose publicly until the matter is resolved, one way or another. If you do have specific questions, I will try to answer them for you. My warning's purpose was to help anyone else to avoid ending up in a situation like mine. It is up to you to take the warning or not. Thanks again everyone for your input and advice.

Good to hear. I didn't mean to offend if I did. Just knowing that the matter is ongoing, and that you are still active on the forum is enough for me. As you say, there is a wealth of info in this community and they are definitely helpful when you ask.

It was suspicious to me that there was only the one post, and then no replies for a week. And a posting like yours gets a lot of attention (notice how many hits it has).

Hope this get resolved without too much stress - and it's probably too late, but - welcome to the forum!

I wonder if this matter has been resolved in court. Any updates?
