this word has no VALUE to me.

Now if it had 30 letters I'd be impressed.

How about a train station in Wales? It would take me longer to walk there than to have to tell the person at the ticket booth where I want to go.

Well, to be honest it has little value to me as well. I have always felt ~ why use big words when diminutive ones will suffice? However it does happen to be the longest "word" in the English language, not to be confused with collections of prefixes & suffixes such as "anti-dis-establishment-ar-ian-ism".

So you utilize "use" instead of using "utilize"? You use "daily" instead of "on a daily basis"? You use "technical" instead of "technologically"? Wow, you are going to bring down Western civilization.

Well, I will, on a daily basis, employ technologically inspired terms such as "use, daily & technical", ergo I would be inclined to acquiesce to your observation. Perhaps I should get a job in the secular ministry.

Smug? Such a dimensionally-challenged (i.e., short) word would be contra-indicated under these volatile circumstances. I would be willing to accede, however, with being anointed with the appellation of complacent or self-satisfied.

Is this a sufficient riposte to your query? Or should I continue with verbal obfuscation worthy of the largest political or corporate communications or marketing department?

Happy Saturday evening, everyone

Out of the plethora of internet forums out there, you don't really see a good thread on recipe's.

I love to cook only once I'm into it. Getting to the point of cooking is what takes the longest for me. Once the train has left the station though, it's all good food waiting on the other end. :-D

I'll start with one I'm making right now.

Simple banana bread. Great thing about this recipe is that you can do it with a bowl and a big wooden spoon. No machines required. There must be a million ways to do it. Here's mine with a twist.

Blueberry & Chocolate chip Banana bread with Maple Yogurt frosting

Banana bread ingredients :

5-6 ripe banana's mashed
1/4 cup melted butter
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup blueberries
1/4 cup chocolate chips
1 severely beaten egg
1 1/2 cups of flour
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of natural vanilla
pinch of salt

Maple Yogurt Frosting ingredients :

1/2 cup of Greek style strained yogurt
Natural Maple Syrop

Prep & cooking :

Preheat oven to 350*F

Put everything in a large bowl except the flour, blueberries and chocolate chips and mix well.
Then add flour and mix.
Then add blueberries and chocolate chips and mix.
Once the mix is done, pour into an ovensafe container and toss into the oven.
Bake for an hour.

Cool on a rack, slice and serve with Maple Yogurt Frosting.

Yum :M
