Well, to be honest it has little value to me as well. I have always felt ~ why use big words when diminutive ones will suffice? However it does happen to be the longest "word" in the English language, not to be confused with collections of prefixes & suffixes such as "anti-dis-establishment-ar-ian-ism".fmande wrote:I'm sorry falco,FalcoColumbarius wrote:floccinaucinihilipilification.

So you utilize "use" instead of using "utilize"? You use "daily" instead of "on a daily basis"? You use "technical" instead of "technologically"? Wow, you are going to bring down Western civilization.FalcoColumbarius wrote:I have always felt ~ why use big words when diminutive ones will suffice?
Felicitations on your utilization of a poly-syllabic half-duplex opto-informational-exchange incorporating Latin-based protocols crossinducted with ASCII encoding schemes.FalcoColumbarius wrote:Well, I will, on a daily basis, employ technologically inspired terms such as "use, daily & technical", ergo I would be inclined to acquiesce to your observation. Perhaps I should get a job in the secular ministry.
