Today I registered my 1994 Delica Spacegear in Canada for the first time. It wasn't without a few obstacles but I got'er done.
Now to install new Inner Tie Rods for the safety inspection.
So, although it does not sound epic, I am still pretty happy to have it sitting legally in my driveway in January after paying for it back in early November.
Just praying it made the voyage from Japan to Halifax in one piece and then the somewhat epic journey through Canada Customs, the dockyard, Provincial Registration office and local auto shop.
Well, we made it!
Anyway, have a drink for me.
Cheers,
Jim

Re: What did you do TO your Delica today?
Had a remote alarm installed , a Viper 3303 , it's upgradable and can support remote start , garage door opener etc.
Had it installed at Visions electronics in Langford.
They seemed to know whats up with JDMs and performed a clean install with the exception of one mismatched door panel screw.
Although ...........
I bought the system in December and was getting poor feedback on when the system might arrive with unreturned phone calls and emails so I went in to cancel my purchase after 5 weeks and my system magically arrived the next day and was installed the following day.

Re: What did you do TO your Delica today?
Today I decided to build my own roof rack as there is a serious lack of Delica parts available in Atlantic Canada..
So here it is in it's first stage.
Now I need to get the uprights bent to the correct offset....

Re: What did you do TO your Delica today?
I changed the oil and drained & filled the tranny last week. Today I changed out my fuel filter, plus I finally got around to re-installing the cross brace onto the battery pack as I have changed back to the flat top sealed batteries. Next I need to grease my nipples
.
Falco.
P.S.: Nice looking speakers, Rik ~ kinda reminds me of some old cut-off jeans I had back in the seventies. FC

Repaired my sway bar links (after snapping them). Kinda sketchy driving around with no sway bar - actually it's nauseating. They should call it the anti-nausea bar instead.
