Front Carpet Removal
Hello all! I've only had my L300 for a day and i've done a lot of tearing stuff out. I've removed all of the back seats and carpet. (As everything was literally sponge-full of water) and I've removed the two front seats as well, but im having trouble getting the front carpets out. :( I've removed mostly everything I can but the dead-pedal (or auto transmissions foot rest [where clutch would be]) isn't coming off. It appeared to have two black round plastic "clips" which haven't budged. And the COOL BOX. Which I'm aware is piped into A/C and other things. (Probably not ideal to try and lift up or remove) But how can I get the carpet out from under it? I want to dry it all out and give it a clean but its just SO WET here on the lower island. (And I cant fit the whole van in the front door of my house...) Help? :)

Re: Front Carpet Removal
push in center pin of round clip then pry out outer edge of clip , the plastic cover will then pop off and a couple of screws will pop off the steel part under
the cool box is installed after the carpet unfortunately , you might be able to loosen it but if the AC is working good now I wouldn't.
when I had my L300 the cool box was super cool for road trips in the summer and would freeze little freezer packs to keep in my picnic cooler.

Re: Front Carpet Removal
Wow thanks! Clips totally popped out. Now if only I could find a way to get the carpet out from under the cool box... It's REALLY wet and I have to find some way to dry it/clean it. (Might just have to cut around the cool box.)

Re: Front Carpet Removal
You don't need to take out the cool box to get the carpet out. if you just rotate the carpet and pull it will come right out (it's just a thin piece between the shifter and the box).
