Re: Bad diesel?
How much room do you have in your tank? I remember hearing someone say you can blend 10% gas w veggie. Could try putting in straight veggie until it is full and then keep adding. We don't run veggie! Just regular old pump diesel. Which I suppose is part of why we're having this problem. So, what do...

NOT "BAD DIESEL"! GASOLINE! HELP! Re: Bad diesel?
We're now estimating that there's, at most, 20L of gasoline in there (I did a sniff test, and my landlord confirmed; it's gas. Eff.), on top of whatever diesel was in there (not a lot, the gauge was on E but not lit up yet, so, what, 15L? 10L?) We've only traveled 40km with the gasoline. And won't b...

Re: Gasoline does not work on a Diesel
This happened to us today. Is there anyone in Victoria who might be able to give us some assistance with these steps? Or at least point me to some photos of these items/parts so I don't end up, I dunno... draining something vital, I guess. Thank you. Scott Chris, This happened to a buddy with an L30...

The filter was new July 24. Can we get away with it? Probably not, eh? Are you in Victoria, legionnair? I could use the help of some Victoria folk.legionnair wrote:Drain as much as you can and refill with fresh diesel also put a new filter on it to cover you butt

Re: Bad diesel?
God, I'm such a noob. Owned this van for close on 5 years now and still an idiot. This > http://www.delica.ca/forum/gasoline-does-not-work-on-a-diesel-11997.html < is definitely what has happened. I'd appreciate the advice/assistance of any Deli owners in Victoria who have had, or are familiar with,...

Re: Bad diesel?
OK. So my wife drove the van to work today and it seemed fine. Then on the drive home, she thought she'd put in some more fuel. But when she got to the gas station and opened cap she smelled what she thought was regular gas. So possibly the guys at the full serve (and I don't know *why* I pulled int...

Bad diesel?
Our L300 was running fine yesterday, then I stopped at a station to fuel up; put $30 in the tank, drove it home. Then later that day, upon starting, she was really "sputtery" and more-than-normal clouds of white smoke outta the tailpipe. And this morning?! Hoooo. Good thing it's foggy in V...

Re: 27 Series Battery -- Brand, Model, Size?
I'm sorry. 16 views already, no replies, I'd just like to apologize for my tone in the original post. I do really need some help here... anyone? :(

27 Series Battery -- Brand, Model, Size?
OK. So I've figured out that if I'm going to replace my 2 dead (or dead-ish) batteries in my L300, then I'm going to need a single 27 series battery. Can anyone here tell me what brand, model, and size of battery I need? Understand, please, I don't want options or different ways of doing it or whate...

Re: Battery Dead -- Options?
... but I still wouldn't say no to a pair of local eyeballs to take a look at the mess under there! My number is 250.886.6679 and I'm off work for the next two days and available-with-notice the rest of the week, so if you're driving in downtown Victoria and feeling like helping a Deli owner out, fe...

Re: Battery Dead -- Options?
Probably they are the originals. They certainly look old. The two guys who have looked at the situation so far have mentioned the "bad battery drains good" as a possibility. Had a friend over for a couple hours and he found that the battery near the outside wall had a loose bolt on the har...

Battery Dead -- Options?
I know this is likely answered somewhere but frankly the search engine here is kinda not-good... anyway. Side door on our L300 got left open a crack and the overhead light was on all day. Batteries dead now. Crappy Tire charger didn't do the job and a jump from a neighbour was similarly unsuccessful...

Re: Starting troubles...
Well, she's been starting fine the past two days with no problems. The 'neutral safety switch' sounds like an interesting solution to the problem, but then, how come she starts most days in Park in any case?
