So this was the actual bracket from the Yakima roof box.
Cut edge; put in new holes... and put nuts on other side of bracket to simulate captive nut design on original.
Not pretty per se, seems highly functional.
For the next person: Mounted with I believe M10, 1.25 thread pitch (25 mm) bolts

Triangular bracket with captive nuts that holds the bull bar to the frame of a 1993 Delica L300 / part number ideas?
Hi Deli Folks;
I am missing the triangular bracket with captive nuts that holds the bull bar to the frame of a 1993 Delica L300.
Any part numbers and /or ideas on how to fashion something sturdy if I can't get the part?
Thanks!

Starter Motor Issues
A special thanks to Mardy helping me out of jam. Short of it: a) Changed the glow plugs myself (yeaaaa!) b) Car started beautifully, then wouldn't start, nothing after click, then would, then wouldn't again and again. Bummer. c) Did a little gear shifting and the car started and then didn't d) Calle...

Re: Headlight Questions: Day Time Running Lights Substitute, different headlights?
Ok took off for the holidays; (and one day noted my deli was a little hot going up hills and then dropped nicely down after slowing down and going down hill). Now that I'm back in wifi connection.... 1. bosc; can you provide specific instructions / links and / or photos on how to do (disconnecting /...

Re: Headlight Questions: Day Time Running Lights Substitute, different headlights?
Falco; Would you please help answer these two questions (I have a 93 Chamoix L300)? a) For testing / theoretical purposes only (kids, do not try this at home) I do not want the regular headlights going on (Day Time Running Light / DTRL) unless I turn on / off a switch. Or b) For testing / theoretica...

Re: Headlight Questions: Day Time Running Lights Substitute, different headlights?
Thanks lrp374 and sfd_656 . Ok, definitely each post gave me things to think about. I don't know how yet to read the wiring diagram and then buy switches, etc. etc. etc. And, I appreciate the point about getting pulled over ad nausea for an 'unsafe vehicle.' So, I'll have to learn more about where t...

Headlight Questions: Day Time Running Lights Substitute, different headlights?
Hi Deli folks; I've been looking at some of the posts about two interlinked questions that I have below but have come up a little perplexed given my lack of technical know-how. In short: 1) I do not want the regular headlights going on (Day Time Running Light / DTRL). 2) I want to substitute...

Way cool, thanks to all, FalcoColumbarius; izack98; Muk138; punkrawker and the readers who are there in spirit. Yes Falco, that was cool to life up the tab, and it exactly corresponded to my VIN on my registration as it turns out. So my next step will be taking the old one out and putting in the $50...

Re: Starter needed 1993 L300 with 5 digits HSRXT
Thanks so much izack98 (and Falco before)! -- izack98 that is a really cool site, and with prices (which are high of course). I'm going to gamble twice: 1) on part number DRS3036 which corresponds to two of the starters 2) on a $50 used Ebay item (said to be in good condition) Next question, how doe...
