Post by beach »

I've been asking around about gas\diesel milage on the delica's. Could anyone tell me what there getting for milage and how many litres a tank holds. also looking for delica's for sale in bc. thanks

Welcome,

Yes they are mini vans, but some people have a problem with calling them that........

Diesel mileage can range from 20 to 30 mpg; 21-22mpg heavily loaded and running at 120km/h on the highway all the way to 30mpg empty and running around town with mileage on my mind. The auto Delica's diesel tank's hold just over 70 liters, not sure about the 5 speed.

Cheers,

thats about what I get in km/L but that does not equal 38 mpg. At least not in the same measurements kev is using. I think thats around 20 mpg or so. The 31s like to mess with your numbers that s for sure. But I wouldnt trade them for the world.

In Canada, we also use the UK gallon.
If you take your 8.5 km per L. and multiply it by 2.82, you will get 23.97 which indicates your approximate miles per gallon.
That's seems closer to what everyone else is getting I think..
Cheers.

I'm tracking my fuel economy on the website in my signature... there's not much data so far, but if you click on the banner for the Delica you'll get a chart with the information.

Yeah US gallons, it's an American site... If you're a member you can change a preference that sets it to display in L/100km (or UK gallons) but it doesn't change the signature graphics, just the car's page and graphs.
