D & D Auto

Post by Firesong »

Located in Prince Albert , Saskatchewan.
Do not buy from these guys. I hate to say it but
their service is unreliable. They won't warranty properly,
they won't follow through.
I have had instances where I was told one thing and then
next time they have the hands out asking for more money.
I also went in with a clutch problem with a specific noise
and next thing you know there was a tranny problem with
a totally different noise ... who caused what?

If you are looking at a vehicle from them, have a look and ask
why parts are missing from the dashes, outside the vehicle.
They will rob peter to sell to paul.. their vehicles are never complete.
The will promise to have something fixed, and when you ask, they
will always have an excuse.

It's too bad, their mechanic seems to do some ok work but it's
a crap shoot.

Avoid them.
I still haven't heard back from them regarding some parts they
lost or left at a different shop. I don't expect them back since
I doubt their integrity at this point.

I would have thought with a name like Dungeons & Dragons Auto it would be a given that there could be some hazards.... Thanks for the heads up, Firesong.

This guy called me due to him being recommended to us. He talked a big game about ordering, and said his main supplier is in Nagoya (my competition). He said he was going to come to Japan to visit us, and asked for me to hold some vehicles. I waited till the day he was supposed to come, and then called him. He said he couldn't. Nice to let me know after-the-fact. Not like I didn't have other things to do but plan for his trip only to be told after the date of arrival that he wasn't coming. He is terrible at replying to emails, and rather blunt in wording. I think he was just fishing around for info. He did tell me that his business volumn as decreased over the years to at least less than half of what he was doing before (if I remember correctly). I really think he is unprofessional in his dealings with me. From the several converations I had with him, I wouldn't trust him to tell me the truth. I think he was fishing for information about other suppliers in Canada (our clients), but he got nothing from me.
