Hey there - I am in need of a headlight combo switch for my 1992 exceed. CCA does not have any available at the moment. Does anyone have one that works and that is for sale?
Thanks in advance.

I know Mardy brings some new from japan, might be your best bet. You could also ask Golfcart, he's got a lot of 1st hand experience with the problem...and might have suggestions for you.
Might be worth to consider installing a remote headlight control...
Good luck!

Re: Headlight Combo Switch
Do you mean the switch assembly on the steering column?
Mine is on the way out so I was going to buy this one:

but I should take it apart and fix it at least once before I replace it.

Thanks guys. RichD - That is what I mean, although my wiper switch is working just fine. I have had the headlight switch replaced and repaired a couple of times, so am on to looking for a good used or even a new one, but they are pretty expensive new.
David - have you installed a remote headlight control (or anyone else)? Not really sure why the headlight switch keeps failing, but have read that it is pretty weak. I guess by installing a remote headlight switch that it takes the strain off the switch, which then becomes a turn signal only?

Re: Headlight Combo Switch
quadzilla, this is a pretty common problem caused by too much draw from new headlights/lightbulbs. Make sure you wire in your headlights/DRL in the way like TardisDeli recommended: http://www.delica.ca/forum/headlight-re ... -7815.html

Yeah - I have looked at that post multiple times and to be honest I have left the wiring up the experts - I would likely screw it up. I was aware that the headlight switch was weak and like the idea of either a dedicated headlight toggle or the wiring setup that tardis posted. Either way, someone else will be doing it for me
. Need to get a hold of a decent used or new switch first.
