trade-in

Post by Brandelica Winnipegger »

Hello,

I am driving out to B.C. this summer in August. I am looking to trade in our '92 SuperExceed for a newer model. We are looking for a similar van, 7 seater, sunroof, etc. but with A LOWER OVERALL CLEARANCE. We brought our blue '92 back to Winnipeg a couple years ago and it is 3 or 4 inches too tall to fit into our heated garage. So, plugging this van in over two winters is enough. Everything would be better if it could live inside. I can provide photos and details and specs as to the condition of the van, no problem. I am willing to deal with any dealer who can make this work. We got our van from Maximum Overdrive in Richmond. I think it has around 135000k on it now.

Thank you,

Carl

You probably know this already living in a winter climate but if you park a vehicle in a heated garage in the winter it will rust out quite rapidly. The only way to mitigate that would be to rinse the underside and the body every time you came in to get the road salt off (you'd need a big garage for that).

Carl,

Post the details and pictures. There's so many floating around in BC that there is bound to be a lowroof looking to grow into a highroof = trade possible.

Did your go through BC out of province inspection ?

Depending on how long ago you bought yours, you may check to see if you have the japanese headlights on there, DRL, etc....
